  • To Sir-Tech and their groundbreaking game, Wizardry, whose spirit of adventure and innovation has been a guiding star to game writers everywhere. Thank you for showing us how good a computer game could be. Your game was my obsession when I was a child and now it is my inspiration. I hope I have done you credit.

    PS — TREBOR NON SUX!

PPS Andrew C. Greenberg, AKA "Werdna", co-creator of Wizardry, passed away on August 31st, 2024. His contribution to the gaming industry, and to my childhood, can not be overstated. Rest in peace, Werdna.

  • A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Frederick Green and the late Dr. Arthur Chou, both of whom taught me Computer Science at Clark University. I was fortunate to meet two such amazing professors at Clark, and I am honored to have called you my friends.

  • Thanks to Art Pugach, co-host of the podcast When In Doubt Reboot, for his excellent IT support and for being a great friend.

  • A sincere thank you to Tracy Gamble, Stonequest's first regular user and an accomplish bug writer. Tracy's feedback and bug reports have been crucial to getting Stonequest into its fighting trim. Sorry for the bugs you encountered, Tracy, but thank you for helping me squash them!

  • I owe further gratitude to Willem van der Windt, Stonequest's second regular user. Willhem has been essential in tuning the initial play-balance and identifying bugs and playability issues. Thank you, Willem, for your help in making Stonequest a better game!

  • Thank you also to Nephi Noble, who has been identifying a lot of longstanding bugs and issues in Stonequest and helping me prioritize fixes. He has also suggested some of the spells in the game, and has even provided concepts for new maze rendering. Very cool! Thanks, Nephi!
